The right life... wrong generation

Welcome... My name is Rebecca. I am a happily married 27 year old, living outside of Chicago, IL. I have been told by many that I am living in the wrong generation, not because I dress in icon fashions of the past (all though I wish I was bold enough to pull that off) but because of my outlook on my life. I applaud the modern day women, striving to get ahead in the grind of it all, but that is not me. I grew up in the 90s when little girls were told to pick a dream (meaning career). I always wanted to be a wife, however I always kept that quiet because it wasn't what people wanted to hear. I went on to college and then earned my Masters and been teaching for the last three years. I love my job but it is not my calling. I am the most happy after cooking six hours for a dinner party that I am hosting. So in a sense this is what this blog will be about, how a modern girl runs a household that conflicts with the modern view.
