Valentine's Family Dinner

I know what you are thinking, family dinner for Valentine's day, not the way normal couples send this day. Well, it is not what it sounds like. My husband and I have a group of friends who are more like family. After thinking about it, we felt we do not spend enough time together just enjoying each others company. Since we all love to cook, we decided to have what we like to call "family dinner." Each weekend we rotate to each other's home. The Sunday before Valentine's Day, was my day! I was so excited! If it was up to me, I would host every weekend but I am sure that my husband would not like the cost that would accrue with that each weekend. However, despite being so excited to host I had no idea what to make. I asked my husband and of course he went with his famous phrase, "anything you make Honey, will be delicious." Of course, this was no help. I decide to go with a Southern theme(Menu to follow). However, what I am most proud of was the table. Ridiculous, I know, but it was fun for me. I mixed the different sets of dishes that I have to go with my theme. I also went with my first attempt of napkin folding. Below you will find the menu and some pictures... enjoy!
